About Me
I began my love affair with Pilates after the birth of my second child. My body, mind and spirit struggled after birthing an eleven pound baby. Seeking out a means to help me heal, my husband gifted me a few classes to Washington Avenue Pilates. My amazing instructor, Monica Delgado, was able to help my body heal through the mindful movement. I found my breath again. I found an energy in the movement that I carried throughout my day. I discovered an awareness of the way my body moved that I had not known before. I was renewed, revived, restored...even reborn.

A year into my practice I decided to become a Pilates Instructor myself in order to share the beauty of this method that I so wholeheartedly believe in.
Pilates came to life through Contrology, a movement system created by Joseph Pilates. This mind, body and spirit movement system is founded on six fundamental principles…
Centering…
Concentration…
Control…
Precision…
Breath…
and Flow.
It is my intention to facilitate an environment, whether on the Mat or the Reformer, where one can develop these principles within their own mind, body and spirit.
